Our Place says its Thermakind ceramic coating is “made without potentially toxic materials like PFAS (including PTFEs and PFOAs), lead and cadmium”, the titanium range has no coating at all, and the Wonder Oven’s chamber is stainless steel. “Non-toxic” has no regulator behind it; what can be checked is what each page excludes, what it leaves out, and what Our Place’s AB1200 disclosure lists.

Always Pan 10.5-inch: eight colourways on 20 October 2026, all $135; five shown. Images: Our Place.
The ceramic pans and pots: a named coating, a named list. “Thermakind® ceramic nonstick coating”, “mainly comprised of sand derivative, water, and alcohol”, over a “cast aluminum body”. The Perfect Pot page: “made without potentially toxic materials like PFAS (including PTFEs and PFOAs), lead and cadmium”. The Always Pan lists the same four. Oven limit: 450°F.
The titanium range: no coating, a shorter list. A “coating free titanium interior with patented NoCo® nonstick technology”, “without a traditional coating or PFAS, including PTFE”, on “3 mm fully clad tri-ply construction”: “aluminum core”, “stainless steel pan exterior”. Lead and cadmium are not mentioned. More on is titanium cookware safe.
The cast iron: enamel, no list. A “black matte enameled cast iron” interior and a glossy enamel exterior, read 16 October 2026 (the page body would not load for us on 20 October). No PFAS, lead or cadmium statement.
The Wonder Oven: a stainless chamber, one coated pan. “Stainless steel interior and glass door”; accessories “made without” PTFE, PFOA, PFAS and “Lead & Cadmium”; the bake pan is “aluminium with non-toxic nonstick ceramic coating”. Is the Wonder Oven non-toxic.
The Dream Cooker: a coated aluminium pot, not stainless. “Inner Cooking Pot: Aluminum with a toxin-free ceramic nonstick coating”; lid top and base “Plastic”. No PFAS, lead or cadmium list. “Toxin-free” is the whole claim. Dream Cooker review.
No agency certifies cookware as non-toxic. There is no standard a pan passes to earn the phrase. What can be checked is the list underneath, and whether anyone outside the company has looked. Brand by brand: non-toxic cookware.
One legal document, and it lists metals. The only regulatory page Our Place links is its California AB1200 disclosure, required for designated-list chemicals present in food-contact parts. For the aluminium cookware it lists aluminium, iron, chromium, nickel and manganese; for Titanium Pro, aluminium and chromium. These are the alloys’ constituents, not a finding of harm; the page says the products “comply with relevant limits and rules established by the federal Food and Drug Administration”. PFAS do not appear on it.
Testing is asserted, not shown. The ceramic collection page says “our cookware undergoes rigorous third-party testing to confirm it”, the “it” being the absence of PFAS. No laboratory, method or report is named anywhere. The titanium page’s only test is internal Vickers hardness, and hardness is not leaching. We have commissioned no testing of our own.
The 1,000°F pan answers a different question. Coating-free removes the coating; it does not settle what titanium, chromium or nickel do at the surface, and the page does not say which titanium or which stainless it uses. Titanium vs ceramic.
A worn ceramic coating is a wear problem, not a listed hazard. By Our Place’s description Thermakind is a sand-derived silica layer — glass chemistry — and a scratched or dulled one stops releasing food; no Our Place page names a hazard from it, and the warranty treats it as wear. The risk Our Place does name is heat: 450°F, “no broilers, please”, “never heat an empty pan”. Its FAQ says PFAS coatings “release toxic fumes when overheated”; it says nothing about its own above 450°F.
No page names a laboratory, a test standard or a certificate. The titanium page gives neither the titanium grade nor the stainless alloy. The AB1200 page lists nickel for the aluminium cookware without saying which part carries it. The Dream Cooker’s pot and the cast iron’s enamel have no PFAS, lead or cadmium statement.
Each product’s own wording, read 20 October 2026 (cast iron: 16 October).
fromourplace.com/pages/AB1200, read 20 October 2026. A listing is not a finding of harm; the page does not say which chemicals are intentionally added.
Same Thermakind coating, same 450°F limit, same hand-wash rule on every size. Prices from Our Place’s product data, 20 October 2026.

Our Place says the coating is made without PFAS (including PTFE and PFOA), lead and cadmium. “Non-toxic” is its word; no third party is named as confirming it.
Our Place states the ceramic coating is made without PFAS and the titanium has no coating and no PFAS “including PTFE”. Its collection page says third-party testing confirms it, without showing the test.
Our Place does not address it directly. The coating is sand-derived, and the warranty excludes “minor scratches that do not affect the performance of the nonstick coating”: wear is treated as wear. Its warning is about heat. Care is on how to clean the Always Pan.
No. The collection page says “rigorous third-party testing” happens; nothing names the lab, the method or a result. The one regulatory document is the AB1200 disclosure.
