The one-sentence answer. Every Our Place pan sold today is oven safe — the ceramic Always Pan and Perfect Pot to 450°F, the Cast Iron Always Pan to 500°F without its lid, the titanium range to 1000°F — but the original Always Pan, sold until April 2023, was not oven safe at all, so the first question is which pan you own.
Below: the rating for every pan, what the lid and the handle change, and why the titanium pans make the question disappear. We earn a commission if you buy through the links here; it has not changed a single figure.
Ratings are Our Place's, read from each product page on 16 October 2026. Where a page is silent — the ceramic lid, broiler use on the Always Pan — this table says so rather than guessing.
If it arrived before April 2023, treat it as not oven safe. The original Always Pan, sold until spring 2023, could not go in the oven. When Our Place launched the Always Pan 2.0 in April 2023 the launch coverage said so in as many words, and Our Place's own product FAQ still describes the redesign as covering “oven-safety” among other things. The 2.0 is rated to 450°F.
How to tell them apart. The 2.0 moved the long handle and the lid knob to hollow stainless steel — that was the stated change, and it is the quickest visual tell. Our Place has since dropped the “2.0” name and simply sells the pan as the Always Pan, so a pan bought new today is the oven-safe one. Our Always Pan 2.0 page goes through the differences.
If you are not sure, keep it on the hob. A 450°F oven is a mild environment for a steel-handled 2.0; it is the wrong place for an original, and Our Place publishes no rating for it.
The lid is where Our Place goes quiet. The ceramic Always Pan's 450°F rating is stated for the pan; the modular steam-release lid carries no published rating. The cast iron pan is the one place Our Place separates the two — 500°F without the lid, 425°F with it — and that gap is the sensible assumption everywhere else: the lid, not the pan, is the part most likely to have the lower limit. If you need the oven, use the pan uncovered unless the care card for your lid says otherwise.
The handle gets hot, by design. Our Place's care text says the short and long handles and the knob “may become hot during stovetop use or in the oven” and tells you to use heat protection. That is normal for a steel handle; it is not a defect.
Broiling. Our Place says “no broiler” on the ceramic Perfect Pot and says nothing about broiling on the Always Pan. The two share the same ceramic coating, so we read the Perfect Pot's rule as the honest guidance for the pan too: a broiler element runs well past 450°F at the surface. The cast iron pan at 500°F uncovered and the titanium pans at 1000°F are the ones built for it.
1000°F, with one footnote. The Titanium Always Pan Pro and the Titanium Perfect Pot Pro are rated to 1000°F in Chrome and Brushed, and to 750°F in the Chrome/Gold finish — the Gold costs $20 more and is rated lower, which is the one thing to know before choosing a colour. There is no coating to protect, which is why the same pans are dishwasher safe and take metal utensils.
What it costs. The titanium 10.5″ is $179 against $135 for the ceramic 10.5″ — the $44 buys the oven rating, the dishwasher and a limited lifetime warranty against three years. The full comparison is on titanium vs ceramic.
Prices and weights read from Our Place's own product pages on the date shown on each card. All four are oven safe to the rating above; the generation question only applies to pans bought before April 2023.

The short answers, by the pan you own.
450°F for the ceramic Always Pan sold since April 2023, in every size. The original Always Pan has no oven rating. The cast iron version is 500°F uncovered, the titanium 1000°F (Gold 750°F).
Our Place does not publish a rating for the ceramic pan's modular lid. The only lid it rates is the cast iron pan's, at 425°F against 500°F for the pan alone. Use the pan uncovered in the oven unless your care card says otherwise.
Our Place does not say for the Always Pan, and says “no broiler” for the Perfect Pot that shares its coating. We would not. The titanium and cast iron pans are the ones rated high enough for it.
Not the standard one: its cavity is 10 inches wide and the 10.5″ pan is wider than that before the handle. The Large and Pro cavities are 13.75 inches wide, so the smaller pans may fit body-first — measure with the handle. Dimensions are on the Wonder Oven dimensions page.
Yes. Our Place's care instructions say both handles and the knob may become hot on the hob or in the oven and tell you to use heat protection.
Each rating was read from the product's own page on fromourplace.com on 16 October 2026. The original Always Pan's lack of an oven rating comes from Our Place's product FAQ, which describes the 2.0 redesign as adding oven-safety, and from the April 2023 launch coverage. How we check these pages.
