The short version. The 12.5-inch Always Pan is $159 — $24 more than the 10.5-inch — and holds 4 quarts against 2.6. Same Thermakind ceramic coating, same 450°F oven rating, same hand-wash rule, same three-year limited warranty. What you give up: 21.5 inches of hob and cupboard with the handle, the narrowest colour range of any Always Pan (five), and the steamer basket, which Our Place lists only in the 10.5-inch box. It is the Always Pan for a household of three or four. For one or two people the 10.5-inch is the better buy.

Four quarts. Our Place's figure. The 10.5-inch is 2.6 quarts and the Mini 1.2. At 12.5 inches across and 3 inches deep it is the only ceramic Always Pan whose capacity suits a household rather than a person.
The body is 3.3 lb. Our Place quotes the 12.5-inch body-only, with no figure for the lid, so it cannot be set against the 10.5-inch's 3.9 lb with lid. What can be said: a pan with 42% more surface area weighs no more than the 10.5-inch before its lid goes on.
$24 for 54% more capacity. Per quart the 12.5-inch is the cheapest Always Pan: about $40 a quart against $52 for the 10.5-inch and $91 for the Mini.
Same coating, same claims. Thermakind ceramic nonstick made without PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium, a body of 100% certified post-consumer recycled aluminium, 450°F in the oven, and induction stated on the page: “compatible with all cooktops, including induction.” Nothing changes with the size except the size.
Measure your burner. A 12.5-inch pan is wider than the large ring on most domestic hobs, and Our Place does not publish a base diameter. Aluminium conducts heat well, but a ring that heats only the centre of a pan this wide cooks the edges more slowly — that is general cookware physics, not a finding about this pan, and it is the first thing to check before buying it.
Five colours. Steam, Char, Blue Salt, Sage and Spice. The 10.5-inch has eight and the Mini twelve; Butter Yellow, Vanilla Bean and Forget-Me-Not Blue do not come in this size. Every size's list is on Always Pan colours.
No steamer basket listed. The 12.5-inch page's “what's included” names the pan and the beechwood spatula. The modular lid is described in the body copy and a with-lid height of 6.2 inches is given, so we read the lid as included; the steamer basket is not in the list. The 10.5-inch is the only size whose box lists all three.
“12-inch” and “12.5-inch” are the same pan. Our Place's page title, size selector and specifications say 12.5 inches; its own meta description says 12-inch. Go by the specifications.
It is the one Always Pan with a stated country of origin. Not on Our Place's site — on Costco's listing for a 12.5-inch bundle, which says “Made in: China”. The detail is on where is Our Place cookware made.
21.5 inches long with the handle. That is the cupboard measurement, and the drawer one.
Ceramic pans: oven safe to 450°F, hand wash only, 3-year limited warranty. Read from each product page and Our Place's product data on 16 October 2026. The Always Pan hub covers the 10.5-inch in full.
Price read from Our Place's product data on the date on the card. All five colourways are $159.

Three answers and one warning.
Yes, to 450°F, like every ceramic Always Pan sold since 2023. No rating is published for the lid. Every pan's rating is on are Our Place pans oven safe.
Our Place's page describes the modular steam-release lid and gives a height with the lid on (6.2 inches), but its “what's included” list names only the pan and the beechwood spatula. We read the lid as included. The steamer basket is not listed for this size.
3.3 lb for the body. Our Place publishes no lid weight for this size, so it cannot be compared with the 10.5-inch's 3.9 lb with lid.
Our Place does not publish a base diameter. The pan is 12.5 inches across; measure your largest ring before buying, because a ring that heats only the centre cooks the edges more slowly.
Five on 16 October 2026: Steam, Char, Blue Salt, Sage and Spice, all $159.
Yes. The page states “compatible with all cooktops, including induction.”

1919 Cookware is an independent guide to Our Place cookware, written to help you work out what to buy. We earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you, and it does not decide our verdicts — where a rival or a cheaper model is the better buy, we say so. Prices and specifications are read from each manufacturer's own published product data rather than from long-term kitchen testing, and the page below explains what that does and does not settle. We do not accept press samples and no brand reviews our pages before publication. Our Place prices and specifications last verified 16 October 2026; competitor prices 25 August 2026.
