The three questions that decide it
Ceramic or titanium. Ceramic is “hand wash only, not dishwasher safe”, “oven-safe up to 450°F”, 3-year limited warranty; the coating is what wears. Titanium Pro is “dishwasher safe” (the care panel adds “hand wash with a bristle brush and mild soap”), 1000°F (Gold 750°F), metal-utensil safe, limited lifetime warranty. How many vessels you will use, not how many pieces. Our Place's counts include lids and utensils: the 13-piece Set is four pans and pots, the 16-piece Set+ five, the titanium Set's “10-Piece” title four vessels and two shared lids. Count the pans you will cook in.
Whether the extra pieces are worth their own price. In the ceramic range the extras are cookware. The Set's $120 over the Duo buys the two Minis, $234 singly; the Set+'s $100 buys the 12.5-inch Always Pan, $159 alone; the Bakeware bundle's $140 buys the Bakeware Set, $199.95 alone. The “Save $198” on the Titanium Pro Cookware Set is against a $698 “value”. Its four pieces cost $578 on their own pages on 20 October 2026: the saving at today's prices is $78.05. The titanium Duo's $374 “compare at” counts the 7 qt pot at $195; it sells for $145.
Our Place does not sell the Essentials pieces singly, so the $553 and $830 “compare at” figures on the Essentials sets cannot be checked. Their warranty is also shorter: “a 2-year limited warranty”, against 3 years on the Always Pan and Perfect Pot sets.

A first kitchen: the 13-piece Cookware Set, $359.95, or the Essentials Cookware Set, $349.95. The Set is the Duo and the Mini Duo in one box, 30.5% under the four pieces. The Essentials set is the classic shapes — fry pan, saucepan, saute pan, stock pot, storage — for $10 less, with a 2-year warranty and no single pieces to replace later.
Buy once: the Titanium Pro Cookware Duo 1.0, $269.95, or the Titanium Pro Cookware Set, $499.95. Dishwasher, 1000°F, metal utensils, limited lifetime warranty. The Set saves $78.05 at today's prices, not the banner's $198; the Set 1.0 at $424.95 saves $153.05 on the same sizes with the earlier interior, and includes the spatula and spoon the current Set leaves out.
The smallest kitchen: the Mini Cookware Duo, $209.95. The 8.5-inch pan (1.2 qt) and the 2.75 qt pot. It saves $24.05, the least of any set, because the Minis are cheap singly: $109 for the Mini Always Pan, $125 for the pot. If the full-size pair might follow, the 13-piece Set has all four for $150 more.
Buy the Duo unless you have a kitchen to fill; buy titanium if you want the dishwasher and a lifetime warranty.

What is the difference between the Cookware Set and the Cookware Duo?
The Set adds the 8.5-inch Mini Always Pan (1.2 qt) and the 2.75 qt Mini Perfect Pot with their lids, a spatula and a spoon: six more pieces for $120 more. The two Minis are $234 bought singly.
What does “Titanium Pro Cookware Set 1.0” mean?
Our Place does not say. On 20 October 2026 it sold a “1.0” set at $424.95 beside the current set at $499.95, whose page says the interior was refined “with a finer micro-texture”. Same four sizes; the 1.0 adds a spatula and spoon.
