The Always Pan 2.0 is just the Always Pan now

Our Place's own product data titles it “Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5″”. There is no 2.0 in the name, the description, or the specification. $135 across all eight colourways.

Product data read 16 October 2026

The pan Our Place actually lists today

Our Place retired the 2.0 name, and its product data now lists the Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5 inch at $135 in eight colourways, hand-wash only, with a three-year warranty.

What the store actually says

We read Our Place's structured product data for the pan directly, rather than its marketing page or anyone else's review. The product title it returns is Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan 10.5″. The entire product description is one sentence: a 10-in-1 cookware system. The number in that phrase describes functions, not a version.

The string “2.0” appears exactly once anywhere in that data, and it is inside an image filename — a leftover from when the pan was marketed under that name. Our Place has stopped using it.

So if you are searching for the Always Pan 2.0, you are searching for a name the brand retired. The pan you are looking for is the one on sale today, and nothing about it is hidden behind the old label.

Every published figure, today

Price. $135. Verified across all eight colourways on 16 October 2026 — Spice, Char, Blue Salt, Sage, Steam, Vanilla Bean, Forget-Me-Not Blue and Butter Yellow. There is no colourway premium on this pan, which is not true of the titanium range.

Surface. Thermakind ceramic. Our Place publishes a flat exclusion list naming PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead and cadmium.

Dimensions. 10.7 in. across, 2.6 qt capacity, 3.9 lb with the lid on. Cast aluminium body.

Heat. Oven safe to 450°F. No broiler.

Care. Hand wash only. No metal utensils.

In the box. Pan, lid, beechwood spatula and a steamer basket. That is more than any other pan in this price bracket we have compared, and it is the strongest argument for buying this one.

Why the version numbers existed at all

Our Place did revise the Always Pan after its original release, and coverage from that period split the two apart as 1.0 and 2.0. Those articles still rank, which is why the search term survives.

We are not going to tell you what changed between them. Our Place no longer publishes specifications for the discontinued version, so a version-to-version comparison cannot be sourced from the manufacturer — only from other people's recollections of a pan that is no longer sold. Every figure on this page describes the pan you can actually buy.

The thing worth knowing before you buy

At 10.5 inches, the ceramic Always Pan and the coating-free Titanium Always Pan Pro sit $44 apart: the ceramic is $135 and the titanium starts at $179. Same brand, same size, two completely different propositions.

The ceramic pan gives you easier release today, a lid, a spatula and a steamer basket, and a three-year warranty. The titanium pan gives you a surface with no coating to wear off, dishwasher and metal-utensil tolerance, a 1000°F rating and a limited lifetime warranty — but it costs $44 more, it ships with its lid and nothing else, and release depends on your technique.

Neither is the obvious winner. The full side-by-side is here, and all four Always Pans are compared here.

So which should you buy?

Buy the ceramic pan if you want the easiest possible cooking surface from day one and you value what comes in the box. The steamer basket alone does a job the titanium pan cannot.

Buy the titanium pan instead if you expect to keep a pan for a decade, you want to put it in the dishwasher, and you accept that a coating-free surface asks more of your technique. At 8.5 inches the gap is wider — the titanium Mini is $155, $46 more than the $109 ceramic Mini.

Method and disclosure

Prices and colourways read directly from Our Place's structured product data on 16 October 2026. Dimensions, materials, heat rating, box contents and warranty from the product pages on the same date. Where Our Place publishes no figure, this page says so rather than borrowing one.

1919 Cookware earns a commission on purchases made through these links, at no cost to you. It does not decide our verdicts — this page gives equal billing to a $135 pan and a $179 pan and declines to name a winner, because the specifications do not support one: the $44 buys a different surface, not a better one.

1919 Cookware is an independent guide to Our Place cookware, written to help you work out what to buy. We earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you, and it does not decide our verdicts — where a rival or a cheaper model is the better buy, we say so. Prices and specifications are read from each manufacturer's own published product data rather than from long-term kitchen testing, and the page below explains what that does and does not settle. We do not accept press samples and no brand reviews our pages before publication. Our Place prices and specifications last verified 16 October 2026; competitor prices 25 August 2026.
