Our Place's care list for the ceramic Perfect Pot is nine lines on the 6.5 qt page, read 20 October 2026, and “Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe” is the first. All nine are quoted below, with the one deep-clean method Our Place gives, what a sticking coating is, and the titanium pot for anyone who wants a dishwasher.

“Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe.” First on the list, and the same words on the 2.75 qt page. Our Place names nothing to wash it with, only what not to use.
“Do not fully soak or submerge your pan or pot in water” and “Make sure your cookware is completely dry before cooking again.” Two lines about water, rule without reason. Wash it, dry it, put it away.
“Avoid using scours and abrasive cleaning agents” and “Do not use metal utensils.” The two rules against scratching the coating. With the deep-clean line, they are all Our Place says about stuck food: boiling water and baking soda, never a scourer.
“Use low-medium heat to preserve the nonstick coating — never heat an empty pot” and “Always use high smoke point oils and avoid aerosol spray oils.” The two rules against heat damage, and cleaning rules in effect: most of what has to be scrubbed off a ceramic pot is oil taken past its smoke point.
“Gets hot! Be careful and use oven mitts or Hot Grips when handling” and “Deep clean with boiling water and a sprinkle of baking soda.” The handling line and the one deep-clean method. Hot Grips are sold separately; the box is pot, lid and beechwood spoon.
The dishwasher: no, on both ceramic pots. “Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe” on the 6.5 qt and 2.75 qt pages alike. It matters for the warranty: “If you follow our easy care instructions, we'll help out if anything goes wrong within 3 years from your date of purchase.” Terms on Our Place warranty and returns.
Stains: boiling water and baking soda. “Deep clean with boiling water and a sprinkle of baking soda” is the only deep-clean method on the 6.5 qt page; the 2.75 qt page has none. Our Place gives ingredients, not quantities or time. It is the method Our Place gives for the Always Pan, which wears the same coating.
A sticking coating is wear, not dirt. Ceramic nonstick is a consumable: it releases less as it ages, and ages faster when the heat, oil and utensil rules are broken. No cleaning restores it. Our Place does not say how long the coating should last, or whether a worn one counts as “anything goes wrong” under the warranty.
If you want the dishwasher, it is the titanium pot. The Titanium Perfect Pot Pro pages: “Dishwasher safe”, it “can safely go through the dishwasher”, and “Safe for use with metal, wood, or silicone utensils.” $145 in Chrome or Brushed, $165 in Gold, product data 20 October 2026, against $149 for the ceramic 6.5 qt. Care list: how to clean titanium cookware; the pot: Titanium Perfect Pot Pro review.
No aerosol sprays, no empty preheating. Both rules are on both ceramic Perfect Pot pages, in the words quoted above, and the 3-year warranty applies “if you follow our easy care instructions”.
How much a “sprinkle” of baking soda is, how long to boil it, and whether the 2.75 qt gets the method at all: its page has no deep-clean line. How long the coating should last, and whether a worn one is a warranty matter.

No. “Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe” is on both ceramic pages, read 20 October 2026. The titanium Perfect Pot Pro is the range's dishwasher-safe pot.
Our Place's only method: “Deep clean with boiling water and a sprinkle of baking soda.” No quantities or times are given.
Ceramic nonstick wears, faster with high heat, an empty pot, aerosol oils or metal utensils, all ruled out on Our Place's list. Cleaning will not restore it; see how to clean the Always Pan, same coating.
No: “Do not use metal utensils.” The box includes a beechwood spoon. The titanium pot's page allows “metal, wood, or silicone utensils”.
