Every price, weight, oven rating, warranty and box list on this site was read from Our Place's own product pages and product data, and carries the date it was read. We are paid by commission when you buy through our links. We are not Our Place. 1919 is a name, not a claim.
Independent, and funded by commission. When you click a “Check price at Our Place” button and buy, Our Place's affiliate programme pays this site a commission. You pay the same price. That is the income. Nobody pays for a ranking, a verdict or a place on a page, and no manufacturer sees a page before it goes up.
Built on dated figures, not impressions. Prices come from Our Place's product data; weights, dimensions, oven ratings, care rules, warranties and What's Included from the rendered product page; competitor figures from the competitor's own page. Each figure is dated. When a price moves, the page keeps the old figure next to the new one. When Our Place does not state something, the page says so rather than guessing.
Nothing is invented. No star ratings. No “customers say”. No testimonials. No impressions from a test kitchen: the pages read what Our Place publishes and check it against itself. Where a page offers a verdict, it is the arithmetic of the figures above it — a per-quart price, a set-against-parts saving, a contradiction between two of Our Place's own numbers.

Two sources per product, read the same day. The product data for the price, the variants and the photographs; the product page for everything else. A sale shows on the page and never in the data, so a lower page price is recorded as a sale, with its date. Every price in one place.Our Place prices lists every product tracked, the price on its last read and the price before that. The hubs — Always Pan, Perfect Pot, Wonder Oven, Titanium Pro — do the same per family, and the comparisons do it against other makers.
Corrections. A figure found wrong is corrected as soon as it is found, and the page's date line changes with it. Where the old figure mattered, it stays on the page as history.
